Tune in every week to hear the stories of incredible current and former professional/collegiate athletes about their successful transitions out of the sporting world and into “the real world.”
Giving up is for rookies…you can beat the odds and go the distance, if only you keep moving forward.
In the 130th episode of Keep Moving Forward I interview creator of the Her Sports Story Blog, and Former D1 Gymnast, Bethany Crouch.
“I want to be remembered as someone who served athletes in whatever part of their journey they are in.” Bethany Crouch has dedicated her life to the betterment of the student athlete; and as the Student Athlete Development and Academic Success Coordinator at her Alma Mater, she does just that every single day. Wanting to expand her reach and use her own expertise as a former collegiate athlete to help students outside of her direct scope in Sacramento, Bethany created Her Sports Story, to help all the former athletes, just like her, to make a successful transition out of the sporting world and into “the real world.” If that sounds familiar, it is probably because you’ve heard me say it about a million times with regards to the mission of Keep Moving Forward. I am so grateful for the chance to connect with Bethany and share the story of a young woman who’s mission in life is aligned with my own. I hope you all are as encouraged as I am by the journey of Bethany Crouch.
